Dresses for a Beach Wedding

Well the date is set and the big day is fast approaching. Clearly your one of the lucky moms who is attending a beach wedding. Now when your shopping for a  beach dress you really don’t need to worry about to many options. Chances are it’s going to be a summer wedding and you’ll be on the beach so your decisions will be limited to a simple color and style choice.

Now if you know what dresses the bride, bridesmaids and the mother of the bride are wearing then you really have your search narrowed down quite a bit for you. You will want to blend with the theme of all the other dresses in the wedding including style and color so now all you need to do is find your dress and with the availability of dresses in this day and age you should have one picked out in no time. Really you can get it done in an hour on line.

The biggest mistake I see when ordering dresses are the aggressive weight loss plans that don’t always come to fruition and the dress that you order today is not meant to fit the person and size you are today. Now ordering a dress two sizes to small is going to do one of two things. One either it’s going to really motivate you to get in shape, hit the gym every day and eat like your a nutritional superstar or your going to fall short and either have a dress that needs alterations or be very uncomfortable for what is a very long day.

If your person number one then good for you. You have the will power of a horse and were all envious of you. If your person number two let’s be a little more realistic here and order a dress that is just one size smaller than your current size and if you do end up losing more than you had planned your going to look terrific either way and be very comfortable in your new dress not to mention having a dress taken in is much easier than taken out. Cheaper as well I might add.

We all know that looking outstanding comes first on the big day and comfort second but it can’t hurt to have both. Your going to buy a nice new mother of the groom dresses beach wedding after all so why not have a great time, be comfortable and look fantastic! You only get to do this once and on the beach to top it off. Your one of the lucky moms who may even be taking a trip to a tropical island beach wedding.
